We think this is the best Grenache we’ve ever produced from Provisor, and definitely the most dense and vinous. The cool and late growing season allowed phenolic maturity and heightened aromatics while having concentration and depth without a heaviness. These vines express themselves with deep and dynamic highlights of juicy and brambly wild berries, herbs de Provence, rhubarb and violets ending with a full and savory finale. 

Grown in the red gravelly loom soils of the Lytton Springs district of Dry Creek Valley. 50% whole cluster and gentle "pour over" fermented (no punchdowns or pumpovers), and then left to ferment natively before pressing to neutral barrels to age for 9 months. Bottled unfined and unfiltered with minimal SO2 added. Farmed organically.
